On Saturday morning, there was an attempted robbery at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washington.
Around 11:24 a.m. local time on Saturday, August 9, an unidentified male entered the Squaxin Island Tribe's tribal casino, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Office. The man demanded that the cashier give up all of the money in the till after approaching the casino's cage and brandishing a weapon.
The person was told by the casino staff that their register was empty. Then the man hurried out of the casino. The man escaped on foot, according to the responding police and K-9 teams, who were unable to find him.
"He was last seen running toward Highway 101, then onto the overpass and out of sight,” a post on the Mason County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page read.
Little Creek features an IGT PlaySports Sportsbook, 28 table games, and 750 slot machines. A 200-room hotel, an RV park, six eateries and bars, an event center, the Seven Inlets Spa, and the Salish Cliffs Golf Club are all elements of the tribe resort. The location is close to Olympic National Park, northwest of Olympia.
The alleged suspect in the botched Saturday holdup, according to the Mason County Sheriff's Office, is about 5'7" and has a "small frame." He is probably between 20 and 30 years old and "possibly Hispanic."
“He was wearing a gray or dark flannel button-up shirt (buttoned to the neck), dark gray pants, dark ‘Romeo’ style boots, a light gray hat with a white Nike logo, and sunglasses. He had a clear plastic glove on his right hand and was armed with a pistol,” the law enforcement alert added.
Police advise you to dial 911 if you know anything about the suspect.
A remark on the Mason County Sheriff's Office Facebook page asked if the individual seen in the Little Creek Casino security footage was the same one who had stolen from Silver Reef Casino approximately a week prior. About three hours' journey north of Little Creek Casino, Silver Reef is located just south of the Canadian border.
Sometime on Sunday morning, August 3, a man entered the Lummi Nation's tribal casino, according to Whatcom County law enforcement. The man demanded money as he walked up to the casino cage.
The Lummi Nation Police Department did not disclose in a statement if the man displayed a gun or stole any money. A man who appears to be of a similar stature is seen in surveillance footage of the incident, but his arms are bare and seem to be tattooed.
"Looks similar to the guy at Silver Reef Casino a week ago, but with a shave,” read the Facebook comment.
According to others, the suspect from Little Creek Casino seems to be the same individual who just took the "jaws of life" from the Centralia Riverside Fire Authority. Emergency first responders employ hydraulic rescue equipment known as "jaws of life" to free people who are trapped in cars or in other circumstances where access is restricted by wrecks or debris.

It might also consider using other channels to spread the word about how to win at casinos. Current customers may also be rewarded with seasonal sales incentives. These kinds of promotions can boost client loyalty, but make sure to read the guidelines before participating in any promotional activity.
